POE Powered
The K1 supports fast Ethernet and 802.3af PoE — delivering both data and power through a single cable. Easy to install, with no signal dropouts or monthly battery recharges.
Advance Control
The K1 gives you full control of your Home Assistant alarm — arm in home or away mode, bypass open sensors, or skip the exit delay, all with just a few button presses.
RFID
Easy arming and disarming with RFID, featuring AES-256 encryption that is unique to every K1 keypad. Set your own encryption key to allow a single RFID tag to work across any K1 in a multi-keypad deployment.
Tamper Protection
Featuring a wall mount with a built-in tamper switch, the K1 alerts you if anyone attempts interference. Its sliding design makes mounting simple, while two bottom screws prevent accidental removal.
MMwave
The K1 includes a built-in mmWave sensor to control the backlight. As soon as you move within 1.5 m, the keys light up — easy to find in the dark without flooding your room with light at night.

We don’t have a fixed release date yet, as the K1 is still in the early stages of development.

We estimate the launch price will be between $99USD and $169 USD.

What are the K1's Competitors?
The K1 is the first of its kind — with no real competitors offering its unique combination of PoE connectivity and feature set. It brings together RFID, mmWave backlight detection, and smart arming control in one purpose-built device.
Designed specifically for Home Assistant, the K1 eliminates the need for tricky workarounds or hours of troubleshooting. It just works.

Will the K1 have WiFi?
Since the K1 is based on an ESP32, it includes built-in Wi-Fi functionality. We’ve also added a USB-C port for 5V power. However, the PoE Series K1 does not feature an internal battery, so users not making use of PoE will need to keep the device connected to a wall outlet via USB.
Is Zigbee on the horizon?
This is something we definitely plan to explore in the future—especially with the ESP32-C6, which offers built-in Zigbee support. For now, however, our development efforts are focused on the PoE Series of devices.
